April 2019 Engineering Challenge– Build a Bridge using Newspapers. Children in all classes completed a very enjoyable engineering challenge in school. Working collaboratively in groups, the children were giving the challenge to work as engineers to build a bridge using 8 sheets of newspaper. The bridge had to be able to hold a dictionary for 20 seconds as a test of it’s design. This was a really fun group activity and children of all ages were able to work well together, pooling ideas, creating, designing & engineering.
