PRIMARY COLOURS 2019

We’re delighted this year to have been selected to participate in the Primary Colours Sligo Art Inititiative during the winter of 2019. We have been working with 2 local practising artists who have delivered workshops in our school for all children and we have visited The Hyde Gallery for a guided tour of the exhibition there.

During workshop one, we worked with watercolour pencils and watercolour paper, to create postcards.

Junior Room Painting Winter 2019

Children in the junior room recently explored tone in painting and how to darken and lighten colours. They created their own tonal scales using the colours blue, black and white.
