Current Music 

• School Musical: Dec 2022-Our first school musical since 2019 was staged on Dec 8th 2022 ‘The Adventures of Superstar’, involving the 40 children in the school, across all classes.
• Music Generation in school 2022-2023
  Sep-Dec 2022: Senior classroom are learning the Ukulele with Gavin Murphy, musician & teacher working with Music Generation Sligo (12 week programme)
• Jan 2022 for 12 weeks, The children in the junior classroom are participating in a music exploration course with Music Generation Sligo
• Tin Whistle Classes
  All classes from 2nd to 6th are participating in weekly tin-whistle classes with June McCormack, our principal, who is an accomplished traditional Irish musician. http://www.draiochtmusic.com
• School Musical Dec 2019-We staged our 2019 musical ‘What’s the Crime Mr Wolf’ on Tue Dec 17th  in Cliffoney Hall.

School Musicals

We do a school musical on an annual basis, in time for Christmas. Children spend the months of November and December preparing for this, learning songs, learning our lines, learning how to act and dance.

Our junior classroom teacher Clodagh Finnegan directs our musicals and is a very talented drama teacher.​
