General School Information for New Entrants

We are accepting enrolments now via Email and post for Sep onwards. Please contact us at office@carnsschool.com if you would like us to post an enrolment form to you. Otherwise, please download PDF of enrolment form below and post back or email filled form to us at Carns NS, Moneygold, Grange, Co. Sligo.

Our School Hours

Our school hours are 9AM to 2:40pm, with infants going home at 1:40pm.

General Enrolment Details:

Enrolling your child in Carns NS–Parents interested in enrolling their children in Carns can make contact with us in at the school at any time by emailing scoilbridecarns@yahoo.com or by phone 0719173081. Our school caters to the children living in the North Sligo area, including Grange, Cliffoney, Mullaghmore, Ahamlish and the town lands of Moneygold, Carns, Drumfad etc.

Open Evening 2025– We will hold our open evening on Thur 30th Jan 2025 at 6pm, to allow parents and children come into the school to look around & chat with teachers. Alternatively, we can make arrangements to show new families around the school, after school hours, when the students have finished for the day. Please just drop us an email to arrange a visit

After School Bus Service

An after school bus service is available at Carns NS. The bus goes from the school door to two after school child care facilities in Grange. The 2 child care facilities are: Little Meadows After School Club and St. Molaise after school, every evening at 2:40PM. This service is organised by parents of children using the bus & a nominal weekly fee applies to those taking the bus. Parents should make direct contact with after school child care to arrange child care.
