Our 5th & 6th class pupils recently took part in the County Sligo ‘Concern.net’ debating competition. The final round took place on Friday, February 13th last in Sligo Education Centre. All 5 team members carried themselves with distinction throughout the various rounds, debated with clarity & conviction & learned many worthwhile skills with each debate. We congratulate Scoil Realt na Mára, Rosses Point, the overall winners in the competition, and wish them well as they go on to represent Sligo in the next round of the competition.
A big thank you to Sligo Education Centre for their organising of the competition & for their welcome & hospitality on Friday last. Go raibh míle maith agaibh also to our parents for their help & support during the competition.
