March 'Meitheal'
27th Mar 2026
On Sunday last our 'March Meitheal' took place where a number of our parents came together with Muireann to set the wheels in motion for tidying and preparing our school garden for the summer season ahead. The place was a hive of activity.
The shed got it's first coat of paint, the beds were weeded, the waterbutt secured, fruit bushes weeded & mulched, along with the beech hedge. Bare root trees were planted. So too were raspberry canes. Finally new beds were planted in the poly tunnel.
It really was such a productive day and encompassed the true ethos of the 'meitheal'. Thank you to those who were in a position to give their time and energy this time around. It truly is appreciated.
