The senior room pupils got off to a flying start for World Book Day/week by joining author Liz Pichon online on Monday morning. They explored the background and what inspired her to write the Tom Gates series, the first of which was published 15 years ago.
They also engaged in a guided drawing workshop with Liz and came up with some really great cartoon designs based on the Tom Gates characters. We definitely have some budding artists in our midst!
